Welcome to Cambodia
Cambodia is a place that will make your imagination soar, take you on a trip through time and bring tears to your eyes. You will have the opportunity to experience and visualize the glorious past when temples were raised and cities created for the glorification of the kings and deities.
In Siem Reap you can visit the renowned Ankgor Wat (largest religous monument in the world), Ankgor Thom, Banteay Srei, Ta Phrom, Bayon and dozens of other temples and temple ruins. You could easily spend a couple of weeks and not see all the temples in the area. The Cambodians have made Siem Reap an easy destination to visit, so what are you waiting for?
Phnom Phen is the capital of Cambodia and is worth visiting (6 hours by car, or 45 minutes flying from Siem Reap). Take the opportunity to learn first hand about the Khmer Rouge regime that devastated the country over 30 years ago. For the brave of heart, a visit to The Killing Fields and Toul Sleng Genocide Museum are somber reminders that we must do everything possible to avoid repeating mistakes of the past.
I trip to Cambodia will leave you with lasting memories of its history, its friendly people and the amazing culture.
Enjoy Cambodia and safe travels!
